SPORT AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR DIPLOMATIC ACTIVITES

In order to be successful in the sport one needs to have a lot of practice, discipline, tactics, determination and patience, as skills that help young people before they succeed in various social areas. In this context, sports diplomacy as a new phenomenon in sports provides open new pathways that have the aim to increase the dialogue, to open new horizons and perspectives and contribute to greater cultural understanding between the peoples of the world. Sports diplomacy aims to assist in overcoming cultural differences and play an active role in making people closer. As an activity, the diplomacy in sports first of all means good skills such as leadership, teamwork, respecting the rules and respecting each other or respecting the differences.
