RELATION OF MORPHOLOGICAL AND MOTOR DIMENSIONS WITH THE SCHOOL READINESS TEST IN 5-YEAR-OLD MALE CHILDREN

Mirko Jakimovski, Lenche Aleksovska Velichkovska, Serjozha Gontarev, Georgi Georgiev

The purpose of this research is related to the relationship between anthropometric and motor dimensions on the one hand with the school readiness test in 129 boys aged 60 to 66 months (5 to 5.5 years) from two kindergartens from Stip. 9 anthropometric measures (three for estimation of longitudinal dimensionality, volume and body mass and skinfolds) and 15 motor tests (three for assessment of coordination, elasticity, balance, precision and explosive power) were applied. To assess the readiness of boys for school, a special test was used that consisted of 5 subtests for determining their pre-knowledge. With factor analysis - varimax rotation, 6 main components were isolated (predictor system of variables). With regression analysis in combined space it has been found that the predictor system of variables has a significant influence on the criteria for the readiness of the school: TPOT, TPRP and TNUM.
